Easter is so much more than bunnies, colored eggs, and jelly beans. Indeed, there is a much better name for this wonderful holiday—Resurrection Day. That's because the main focus of it is new life and victory over death accomplished by the one particular figure of history who is famous for this. But of course there had to be a death before there could be a victory over it. To expound on this the editors of Tao and Tawheed conducted the 1st annual Locke and Lewis lecture Series of filmed studio talks on the subject to capture the important events of this historical narrative from the New Testament's four gospels. These nine lectures are posted in our affiliated YouTube channel, Tao and Tawheed Collective. Its presenters include Ben Edwards, Ismail Nemr, Wissam Yousif and Eddie Yousif (together), Steve Schlichter, Jon and Jayne Frazier (together), Jeff Davis, Scott Cherry, and UMD student Christian Ledford.
*Since this original post we have also completed the 2nd annual Locke and Lewis Lecture Series consisting this time of 38 "micro-videos" and a 10-part series-within-a-series called Deriving Dignity, by Abdu Murray.
